The Writers Guild of America (WGA) have now announced its nominees for outstanding achievements in television, radio, news, promotional writing, and graphic animation during 2010 and we are proud to reveal that The Walking Dead has been honored with a nomination in the Best New Series Category. We’re sure it’ll be the first of many.
Frank Darabont, Charles Eglee, Robert Kirkman, Jack LoGiudice and Glen Mazzara are all listed in the award nomination. They will be up against the likes of Boardwalk Empire, Treme, Men of a Certain Age and Justified for the prestigious award.
The 2011 Writers Guild Awards winners will be announced on Saturday 5th February 2011- so watch this space!
